Therapy to help clients recover

Camilia Rose Rehabilitation Center

Our therapists understand the aging process and design therapy programs with appropriate challenges in mind. Our therapy staff is part of a comprehensive rehabilitation team that includes physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech & language pathologists, doctors, nurses, social workers and psychologists to provide the best possible care for our clients.

Physical Therapy

Physical therapy is prescribed to restore a person’s ability to function and recover from conditions that make it difficult to move and perform everyday tasks. The goal of our physical therapy team is to make daily activities easier by increasing the client’s strength, flexibility, endurance, coordination, and balance. We work with a balanced program of patient education, safety, home exercise programs, self-care, the use of assistive devices, and pain relief. We help with recovery after surgeries, management of chronic health problems and more.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy gives our clients the opportunity to practice the important and practical skills of daily life that are frequently affected by illness and post surgical complications. Typical skills may include safety with cooking, medication management, brushing teeth, toileting cares and phone use. Occupational therapy often compliments physical therapy with low level exercise sessions geared to building endurance and strength.

When a client is ready to return to their previous or new living situation, our occupational therapy department is available to help design a plan to ensure the transition to home is smooth and safe.

Outpatient Services

Outpatient and home health services are available for a continuity of care for those who may require help after they return home.
